Where Western brands and Asia-Pacific audiences meet.
Hanmae Affiliate is a boutique agency built for one journey: carrying performance marketing gracefully across borders. We help brands enter APAC markets through trusted publisher networks — and help Asian brands find their footing in the West — with strategy that respects language, culture, and commerce alike.
Affiliate marketing travels badly when it is simply translated. A campaign that converts in Manchester can fall flat in Manila; a creative beloved in Seoul can feel opaque in Sydney. Hanmae Affiliate exists because performance across borders is not a translation problem — it is a fluency problem.
Our team plans, launches, and manages affiliate programmes that move in both directions: Western brands seeking growth across Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, and Oceania, and Asia-Pacific brands ready for European and North American audiences. We handle the parts most agencies avoid — local publisher relationships, tracking infrastructure that survives regional privacy rules, and payment flows that keep partners paid on time in their own currency.
The result is quiet and deliberate: programmes that compound, partners that stay, and reporting you can actually read.
Services
What we carry across the bridge
Six disciplines, practised end to end — from the first market study to the monthly reconciliation call.
APAC Market-Entry Strategy
Before a single link goes live, we map the landscape: which markets reward your category, which affiliate models dominate there, and what a realistic first-year commission economy looks like. You receive a phased entry plan, not a leap of faith.
Campaign & Creative Localization
We adapt offers, landing pages, and creatives with native-speaking specialists — not machine translation with a polish. Tone, seasonality, payment habits, and local proof points are rebuilt for each market so the campaign feels born there.
Regional Publisher Partnerships
Years of relationships with cashback platforms, comparison sites, KOL networks, and niche content publishers across the region. We negotiate placements and commercial terms directly, in the partner's language and business culture.
Cross-Border Tracking & Payments Guidance
Attribution that holds up across app-heavy markets, privacy frameworks, and multiple networks — plus practical guidance on paying partners across currencies and jurisdictions. Fewer disputes, cleaner books, happier affiliates.
Marketplace & Super-App Channel Marketing
In much of Asia-Pacific, commerce lives inside marketplaces and super-apps rather than the open web. We build affiliate and partnership programmes native to those ecosystems, where Western playbooks alone would never reach.
Performance Reporting Across Regions
One consolidated view of programmes running on different networks, currencies, and time zones. Monthly narratives explain not just what happened, but why — and what we are changing next quarter because of it.
Where We Work
Fluent in four regions
Each market has its own rhythm. We plan for the differences instead of pretending they do not exist.
Southeast Asia
Mobile-first, marketplace-led, and wonderfully diverse. From Indonesia to Vietnam, we lean on cashback communities, live-commerce creators, and super-app placements — with campaign calendars built around mega sale days like 9.9 and 11.11.
Japan
A mature, trust-driven affiliate economy with deep comparison and point-site cultures. Success here rewards patience: meticulous creative compliance, long-term publisher courtship, and copy that earns credibility before it asks for a click.
South Korea
Fast-moving, community-centric, and design-literate. We work through Naver-native content, KOL partnerships, and membership commerce — where a well-timed review carries more weight than any banner ever will.
Australia & New Zealand
The natural first step in either direction across the Pacific. Familiar affiliate mechanics with a distinct local voice — ideal for testing offers, pricing, and creative before committing to larger, more complex markets.
Approach
A calm, four-step passage
No theatrics — just a sequence we have refined across dozens of cross-border launches.
01
Listen & Map
We study your unit economics, category dynamics, and ambitions, then map the two or three markets where your first pound or dollar of commission works hardest.
02
Localize & Build
Offers, creatives, and landing experiences are rebuilt for each market. Tracking, feeds, and payment rails are configured and tested before any partner sees the programme.
03
Partner & Launch
We recruit publishers by hand — the right cashback sites, creators, and content partners — negotiate terms, and launch in measured waves rather than a single noisy push.
04
Measure & Deepen
Monthly reporting turns into quarterly strategy: pruning what underperforms, deepening what compounds, and opening the next market only when the last one stands on its own.

What partners say
Hanmae took our skincare brand from zero presence in Southeast Asia to profitable affiliate revenue in three markets within a year. They told us which markets to skip — that honesty alone paid for the engagement.

We had tried to enter Europe twice on our own and stalled both times. Hanmae rebuilt our programme for Western publishers, sorted the tracking and payouts, and suddenly the conversations with partners became easy.
Their reporting is the first I have ever forwarded to a board without rewriting it. Clear numbers, honest commentary, and a plan for next quarter — across four countries and three networks, in one document.
Both, and often for the same client at different stages. Roughly two-thirds of our current work is Western brands entering Asia-Pacific; the remainder is APAC brands expanding into Europe, North America, and Oceania. The disciplines are the same — only the direction of travel changes.
Expect roughly eight to twelve weeks from kickoff to first live partners: market mapping and planning in the first month, localization and tracking setup in the second, and a staged publisher launch in the third. Mature revenue typically builds over two to four quarters, depending on category and commission competitiveness.
No. We are network-agnostic and work across global platforms, regional networks, and direct partnerships alike. Part of our planning work is recommending the right mix per market — sometimes that means one global network, sometimes a local network plus a handful of direct publisher agreements.
We advise on structure rather than holding funds ourselves: which networks or payment providers to route through, how to handle currency and withholding considerations with your finance team, and how to set payment terms that keep top partners loyal. Clean, punctual payouts are one of the strongest retention levers in affiliate marketing.
Most clients work with us on a monthly retainer plus a modest performance component, scoped by number of markets and depth of publisher management. Market-entry studies are also available as fixed-fee projects if you want the map before committing to the journey.
